1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the rental services provided by VELOCITY MOTORS & WHEELS LLC ("we", "us", "our"), located at 18005 Atkinson Ave, Torrance, CA 90504. By making a booking, calling our office, or taking possession of a vehicle, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services
We provide vehicle rental services including self-drive rentals, chauffeur-driven rentals, airport pickup/drop, local and outstation travel, and monthly/long-term leasing ("Services"). Specific service availability, vehicle types, and rates will be communicated at the time of booking.
3. Booking & Payment
- Booking Method: All bookings are handled offline — by phone or in person. We do not accept online bookings through the website.
- Payment: Payment terms (accepted methods, due amounts, security deposit) will be provided at the time of booking. You must pay any required deposit or rental charges as agreed before taking possession of the vehicle.
- Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required for rentals. The deposit amount will be specified during booking and is refundable after vehicle inspection, subject to deductions for damage, missing fuel, late returns, or additional charges.
4. Eligibility & Documentation
- Minimum age to rent: 25 years.
- Valid driving license required. International driving licenses are accepted provided they are valid and presented at pickup.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if proper identification, payment method, or proof of eligibility are not provided at pickup.
5. Fuel Policy
We operate on a Full-to-Full fuel policy unless otherwise stated. Customers must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup. If returned with less fuel, we will charge for the missing fuel and an administrative fee.
6. Kilometer Allowance & Excess Mileage
Your rental agreement will state any kilometer allowance. Excess kilometers will be charged at $10 per extra mile/km (as specified at booking). Please confirm the unit (mile or kilometer) at booking; the charge applies per unit over the included allowance.
7. Late Returns & Penalties
Late returns incur additional charges. If you return the vehicle later than the agreed time, a late return fee will apply. Fees are charged to cover additional day(s) or hourly usage and will be described in your rental agreement. Repeated late returns may result in additional penalties and affect future rental eligibility.
8. Damage, Accidents & Liability
- The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period, except where otherwise covered by insurance as explicitly stated in the rental agreement.
- In case of an accident, notify local authorities and call our emergency support number immediately. Do not admit fault at the scene. Cooperate fully with law enforcement and VELOCITY MOTORS & WHEELS LLC.
9. Prohibited Use
Vehicles must not be used for illegal activities, racing, off-road driving unless permitted, towing, transporting hazardous materials, or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Violations may result in termination of the rental without refund and liability for damages.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation terms will be provided at booking. Please note: no refund will be provided after vehicle pickup. Refunds for cancellations before pickup (if any) will depend on the notice period and terms agreed at booking.
11. Insurance
Insurance coverage (if any) and its scope will be described in the rental agreement. Unless specifically stated, the renter is responsible for damages not covered by insurance, including insurance deductibles.
12. Termination
We may terminate the rental and repossess the vehicle at any time if the renter breaches these Terms or if the vehicle is being used in a prohibited manner.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VELOCITY MOTORS & WHEELS LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from vehicle rental, including loss of profits, personal injury (except where mandatory by law), or other damages.
14. Indemnification
Renter agrees to indemnify and hold VELOCITY MOTORS & WHEELS LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from renter's use of the vehicle in violation of these Terms.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on our website. Continued rental or use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise agreed.
